Galaxy S III merupakan ponsel Android andalan Samsung. Ponsel ini adalah penerus dari Samsung Galaxy S II. Hadir dengan prosesor Exynos Quad Core dan berjalan pada sistem operasi Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (dapat diupgrade ke Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean) membuat ponsel ini masuk kedalam kategori “High Class Smartphone”.
Spesifikasi Samsung Galaxy S III utama yaitu dilengkapi dengan kamera belakang 8MP dan kamera depan 1,9MP, memiliki ketebalan 8,6 mm, tampilan layar 4.8 inci Super AMOLED dengan resolusi 720×1280, jaringan 3D HSDPA serta jaringan 4G LTE.
Spesifikasi Samsung Galaxy S III lain yang tidak kalah pentingnya adalah dilengkapi dengan baterai Li-Ion berkapasitas 2100 mAH dan tersedia dalam tiga pilihan model berdasarkan kapasitas, yaitu Model 16GB, Model 32GB, dan Model 64GB. Serta dilengkapi dengan slot MicroSD yang mendukung hingga kapasitas 128GB.
Samsung Galaxy S III diluncurkan secara resmi pada bulan Mei 2012 yang lalu, dan tersedia secara resmi di Indonesia pada bulan juni 2012 yang lalu.
